MTF & DCTF 70W Synthetic is a transmission oil designed to improve the feel of Hyundai Kia's seven-speed DCT transmissions.
It is formulated as a Hyundai manual transmission fluid (MTF) and a dual-clutch transmission fluid (DCTF) and is a synthetic oil.
The oil has an SAE 70W viscosity rating.
This oil is classified as an "extra low viscosity oil."
The 70W viscosity is recommended for vehicles with manual transmissions, as well as for those with DCT transmissions.
The 75W/85 viscosity is recommended for sport driving and vehicles with an engine capacity of 2000cc or more.
The original manufacturer used MTF 75W/85 Synthetic oil for the DCT transmission but developed DCTF 70W to improve gear shifting and increase fuel efficiency.
According to the manufacturer's maintenance guidelines, 1.9–2.0 liters are required, and 70W should be used as the standard viscosity. MTF and DCTF can also be used as replacement transmission fluids.
